Over the years Summit treestands have proposed the elimination of bolts, screws and mechanical fasteners because they tend to loosen and create squeaks and creaks. We have manufactured steel alloy tree stands that were welded for structural stability and to eliminate the possibility of noise. Summit treestands now have a lightweight alloy that we have engineered with mechanical locks for structural integrity, but it is also welded to eliminate noises from metal to metal motion. Think of it: locked and welded, called "Summit-Lokt".
