Food plots play a major role in managing deer herds and other game.  Food plots should be available to your deer herd year round, not just during hunting season.  High protein food plots will provide your bucks the nutrients they need during the critical horn growth period through spring and summer.

Providing your whitetail deer herd and other wild game with nutritious food plots throughout the year will result in a healthier deer population and larger bucks.  Unfortunately this does not happen over night.  It will take about 2 to 3 years for food plots and deer management to make a noticeable difference.  Even though you do not see results right away, you will appreciate the efforts a couple of years later.
