Antler King Trophy Mineral

A study at Penn State's College of Agriculture solidified the importance of nutrition in developing a trophy bucks and a healthier deer herd. The three year feeding trial concluded:
 

• Low dietary levels of calcium and phosphorus resulted in stunted antler growth and in several instances, even death.

• Bucks supplemented with adequate protein and minerals started developing antlers 2–4 weeks earlier than deer on restricted diets.

Excited by the fact that we can influence a deer's diet to attain trophy proportions, Todd Stittleburg, an animal nutritionist, set to work to do more research on feeding deer. He found that although a buck's antlers are made up primarily of calcium, phosphorus and other minerals, their balance are important. Stittleburg took the most digestible forms of these essential minerals and blended them in the proper nutrient balance. Antler King® Trophy Deer Mineral is the result.
