Getting Kids Involved

Take a child to Mother Nature's house on Saturday to learn the skill of hunting, and to God's house on Sunday to discover the treasures of life.

Whether you are a parent, grandparent, or distant relative, it is your responsibility to make hunting a family activity.  We have to keep kids involved in hunting and the outdoors because they are the future generation that will have to fight the battle for us to keep our rights to hunt and enjoy the outdoors.  There are numerous organizations trying to get laws passed against hunting every year.  If we don't get our families involved and pass the tradition of hunting from generation to generation hunting will become a thing of the past. If you are like me, you want to be able to teach your children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren to hunt and enjoy the outdoors as much as yourself.

So next time you are throwing your camo in the bag and running out the door, STOP, and try to think of a way to make this a family outing. You will be surprised at the blessings the GOOD LORD will bring to you as a result.  and don't forget about church on Sunday, remember, a family that prays together stays together.
